Product photography had gotten way too complicated, so we decided to invent
something radically different to make it fun and creative again.
In response to the boom in fashion e-commerce, Maurits Teunissen and Bartel Huibregtsen founded StyleShoots, to simplify one of the most important steps in the process - photographing products for online display.
We wondered how mankind could put a man on the moon in the 60's, yet we are still manually cutting out the background from product photos. Thousands of man hours are spent on this tiresome task every single day. So through relentless innovation we came up with StyleShoots, a photo studio that automates all the boring parts of product photography, does it well, and let's you get on with it.
Stylists can now focus on what they are best at, and leave all image processing and techie stuff up to StyleShoots. The Auto Alpha algorithm cuts away the background in a snap, giving the graphic designers and layout artists total freedom to create collages and lookbooks with custom backgrounds and stunning effects.
The innovation in our products comes from opportunities in technology that allow us to solve problems in ways previously unimaginable. We listen carefully to demands in the fashion industry, while we dream up the next great products.
